What is Together as One (TAO)?
TAO was formed because several people in the Facebook group, Intentions Affirmations Manifestations, were looking for a positive, supportive, accountability group. TAO is the manifestation of those requests.
How does TAO work?
There are two 30-60 minute online meetings per month, facilitated by professional motivator and award-winning speaker and coach, Scott "Q" Marcus. Each meeting has a general topic but the conversation will flow where members need it to go. The meeting format consists of:
How much does it cost?
UPDATED FOR 2022 Part of what makes TAO so effective is that it requires a committed group of like-minded people to go through the program together. Because of the efficiency of the group moving forward at the same pace and because they help each other, that allows the costs to be a low $23.77 per month.
Payment is required upfront for the entire series.
Can I pay monthly?
Exceptions can be made. If you'd like to join but need a monthly payment, please click here to send an email.
Are scholarships available?
We realize that - although the cost of entry is extremely low - some people might have circumstances making payment problematic so we have openings for a maximum of two people per session who are allowed in pro-bono. Scholarship recipients are confidential to everyone except the administrator.
How do I get a scholarship?
Send an email to this link and explain your need for a scholarship. In exchange for having to pay, scholarship recipients will be required to provide support by helping to spread the word for the Facebook group and/or the Tuesday gatherings of that group.
Does paying for membership mean I am accepted?
No, applying for membership does NOT guarantee acceptance.
Due to the need to form a small cohesive group, every applicant must fill out a simple questionnaire explaining why s/he is interested. (That link will be emailed to you upon receipt of payment.)
Each application will be reviewed and the applicant will be notified quickly. In the event of non-acceptance, you will be 100% refunded.

If you are accepted to TAO and you attended the sessions, were actively involved, and were still unsatisfied after completing your series, your fee will be refunded for any reason. No questions asked; no arguments.
What is required of members?
Emotional safety and confidentiality during meetings and in-between meetings are required. Violation of this rule will be an immediate cause for termination. Communication among members between meetings is not only encouraged but expected. Membership requires a three-month or six-month commitment.
When are the meetings?
UPDATED FOR 2022 Currently, they're scheduled for the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 5:30PM PT (8:30PM ET) to 6:30PM PT (9:30PM ET).
How many people can be in TAO at once?
UPDATED FOR 2022 From our previous experience, we have found that 10-12 is the optimum amount. (Too many people would damage the intimate feeling of the group and too few would limit the exchange of ideas.)
Can I make a shorter commitment than six months?
Part of what makes TAO so powerful is that all members commit to each other, allowing for a sense of security and honesty so a six-month commitment is a requirement.
What happens if I have to quit?
Of course, "life happens." Exceptions can be made for emergencies or unavoidable circumstances. Otherwise, no refunds will be given.
What happens at the end of my series?
You can continue on for another series or move on. There is no obligation.
Can other people join during the series?
It is unlikely. Once the series begins, it will be "locked." If, however, the majority of members want to add someone else and the membership is not yet full, existing members will review the application and make a determination. When a new series begins, if there is room, applications will be taken again.
What happens if someone is in TAO that others don't like?
We're all adults. We'll assume that we can work out disagreements. However, in that unlikely case, the Administrator can remove someone, based on the feedback from a majority of the group.
